St. Louis City Municipal Division Moving to Case.net

Municipal Court will use Case.net for new cases filed on or after January 2, 2024.

Beginning January 2, 2024, the St. Louis City Municipal Division will begin using Case.net/Show Me Courts as its electronic case management system for all new cases. This will include all new tickets filed with the Court on and after January 2, 2024. The Court will continue to process all cases filed before January 2, 2024 with its legacy electronic case management system until they are closed. 

For individuals who have cases in the St. Louis City Municipal Division, this means that during this transition there will be two different ways of:

  1. looking up your case online
  2. paying eligible cases without a court appearance
  3. paying fines imposed after a plea or finding of guilty online
  4. receiving court date reminders

The way you will use these systems will depend on whether your case was filed with the court by the prosecuting attorney before January 2, 2024, or on or after January 2, 2024. Some individuals may need to use both methods in some cases.

The Supreme Court has ordered that all municipal courts use Case.net/Show Me Courts. The goal is to provide a uniform case management system, and a uniform way of accessing information online, for all courts in the State of Missouri.

Attorneys, please fully review this information before you enter your appearance or submit filings in St. Louis City Municipal Court.
