Cecilia (she/her/hers) was born and raised in St. Louis City and is honored to serve as Policy Associate in President Green's office.
While pursuing her Masters in Social Policy and Masters in Social Work, Cecilia served as a practicum student with ArchCity Defenders, where she contributed to development efforts and expanded her passion for justice and equity in St. Louis. Also as a practicum student, she assisted then-Alderwoman (now President) Green with policy research and recommendations, specifically focusing on community development and housing issues. After graduating from her Masters program, she worked as a researcher and writer for Partners for Justice, a nonprofit pursuing justice in the criminal legal system by transforming public defense.
In her free time, Cecilia can be found coaching aerial circus at Circus Harmony (in the City Museum), going for long walks around the City, and wrangling her toddler.
