Reinstate Vehicle Registration Suspensions

Information on vehicle registration suspension due to outstanding parking violations.

Overview

The City of St. Louis issues parking tickets, deliquent tickets on registered Missouri Vehicles can cause suspended registration on that vehicle.

Effective July 1, 2005, the registration of any Missouri motorist with open delinquent parking tickets may be suspended by the Missouri Department of Revenue (DOR).

Be aware it is unlawful to operate a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.

Instructions

  1. Check the status of parking tickets issued to your vehicle, please contact the St. Louis Parking Violations Bureau.

  1. Pay all outstanding parking tickets with the St. Louis Parking Violations Bureau
  2. Provide proof of liability insurance (SR-22 form) and pay a $20 reinstatement fee to the Missouri Department of Revenue
