Open Enrollment for Dental Insurance

Information regarding Dental Source and United Concordia were distributed with the paychecks on Friday, April 29, 2011.  The deadline for submitting forms to the Department of Personnel, Employee Benefits Section, 1114 Market Street, Suite 900, St. Louis, MO  63101, is 5 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011.  Coverage is effective June 19, 2011, and the first payroll deduction will begin July 8, 2011.

The Department of Personnel negotiated a premium pass this year with United Concordia in addition to upgrading the annual maximum from $1,000 to $1,250.  Premiums for Dental Source Free Access are increasing by 5% based on the cap negotiated in our agreement.  There are no premium increases or coverage changes in the Dental Source E Plan.
