Automotive Technology and Advanced Manufacturing Info Session

SLATE is partnering with Ranken Technical College to prepare workers for advanced manufacturing and automotive technology fields. Both training courses offer short training in high-demand occupations, over 100 credit hours of college instruction, over 1250 hours of paid internship at participating automotive dealers, industry certifications and/or college degrees.
- GED/High School Diploma
- Age 18 or older
- Able to pass background check, fingerprinting and drug screening
- Able to pass WorkKeys Assessment
Over the course of their training, apprentices will receive a paycheck which will grow as they learn new skills. Training will consists of classroom education and hands-on practice. Upon completion, apprentices who graduate will be rewarded with a career that offers competitive salary and employment opportunities. Information session will answer any questions about the apprenticeship and is the best first step for interested individuals.
