Admission: Charge. Cost: $30* (free kids’ dash), $35 beginning on November 8 Veterans receive a $5 discount and a free “Proud Veteran” sticker to wear.

The Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk to benefit St. Patrick Center on November 9 includes a timed 5K, one-mile fun-run, FREE Kids’ Dash and many fun-filled activities. This is a family-friendly event to honor our nation’s heroes and raise awareness for veteran homelessness. Last year, St. Patrick Center helped more than 1,100 veterans (20% of our client population) and their families who were experiencing homelessness. The Veterans Day 5K Run/Walk event includes a runner’s village featuring: – Photo opportunities with a bald eagle from the World Bird Sanctuary – Appearances by Fred Bird & Louie – Snacks, coffee, hot chocolate, water, beer (21+) – Activities for the whole family including a bubble bus, face-painting and yard games – Music by DJ Big Papa G and more! Length: Timed 5K run/walk and one-mile fun-run Cost: $30* (free kids’ dash), $35 beginning on November 8 Veterans receive a $5 discount and a free “Proud Veteran” sticker to wear. *All paid participants receive a free moisture-wicking long-sleeve shirt and race bag! 9:00am– 5K 9:05am – One-mile route 10:00am– Kids’ dash 10:15am– 5K awards (age groups from 19 and below to 70+) 10:30am– Veterans Day Observance Ceremony 12:00pm– Parade Individual and team registration is available!
