Notice: Because of the Global Pandemic declared on March 11, 2020, and subsequent Federal, State and Local Public Health Orders, for the protection of the public and in keeping with CDC guidelines, meetings will be restricted to no more than 10 persons maintaining a distance of 6 feet apart. In his new book, ‘They Were Good Soldiers’: African-Americans Serving in the Continental Army, 1775–1783 (From Reason to Revolution), John U. Rees brings to life the amazing personal experiences of black men and women fighting for freedom. Books will be available for purchase.
Sign language interpretation will be provided at this program.
This program takes place in the Pruitt and O’Hare Rooms (206/207) on the upper level of Soldiers Memorial.
