Due to the COVID-19 virus the Board of Aldermen is holding regular meetings by electronic Webinar. Each meeting will have an electronic link and phone number that can be used to view and/or listen to a meeting. Each meeting will also have a Meeting ID Number that can be used if requested while you are accessing the meeting.
The public may view or listen to this meeting by following the below instructions:
To access a meeting electronically you may place your cursor on the link below that is related to the meeting you wish to view and press the Ctrl Key and simultaneously Left Click your mouse to join the webinar. The Committee will take Public Comment on any of the Board Bills and Resolutions listed below. Please see the below instructions on how to register to speak to the committee.
Public Hearing Procedures:
Those interested in making a comment should send an email expressing their interest to speak as well as their name, street address, email contact address and the Board Bill Number and/or Resolution Number they wish to speak about. This email should also indicate whether you are “for”, “against” or have “no position” on the Board Bill and/or Resolution. This email should be sent to the Board of Aldermen Clerk - Mr. Terry Kennedy at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Persons may also call 314 589-6845 and leave a message with the above information. Those who do not have an email address or wish to call into the meeting by phone to speak, should call the phone number above and express their interest to speak as well as leave their full name, phone number and all the requested information above.
Those responding by email will receive an email confirmation and then later a link that will allow them to join the meeting as a speaker. Procedures will also be sent to you. Those calling in will receive a return phone call with this information.
All requests to speak must be made by 12noon Tuesday, June 29, 2021. Speakers will be called to speak in accordance to the Rules of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen which can be found on the Board of Aldermen Website.

Board Bill Number 56

The overall purpose for this bill is to conditionally vacate the following public alley. The westernmost 170.44' ± 0.80' of the 20-foot-wide east/west alley in City Block 4233 as bounded by Fordey, Thatcher, East Railroad and Antelope. The Petitioner is Solutions Concepts, LLC. The vacated area will be used to improve security as well as consolidate property for future development.
Board Bill Number 57
Introduced by Alderman Jack Coatar
The overall purpose for this bill is to conditionally vacate the following public street. 9th Street from Cole Street to Dr. Martin Luther King Drive in City Blocks 167 and 259. The Petitioner is St. Louis Municipal Finance Corporation. The vacated area will be used to consolidate property for expansion of the convention center.
