Anyone wishing to address the Mental Health Board on proposed 2021 property tax rates for the Community Mental Health Fund and the Community Children’s Services Fund is invited to attend this Public Hearing prior to the regular meeting of the MHB Trustees. Comments should pertain to Resolutions setting the next year’s property tax rates for both funds. The proposed Resolutions have been posted at the MHB office, the Main Post Office, and published in the St. Louis American.

BOARD MEETING
1. Community Comments
Opportunity for individuals from the St. Louis community to comment on issues concerning the Community Children’s Fund and the Community Mental Health Fund or other issues related to behavioral health needs of children and/or adults. Speakers must sign up in advance and limit comments to three minutes.
2. Approval of the August 2021 Board Minutes
The Trustees will vote whether to approve the meeting minutes from the last meeting held August 19, 2021. Minutes are distributed to all recipients on MHB contact list.
3. Resolution to Approve the 2021 Estimated Tax Rate for the Community Mental Health Fund
Trustees will vote whether to approve the Resolution to accept the 2021 Estimated Tax Rates for the Community Mental Health Fund.
4. Resolution to Approve the 2021 Estimated Tax Rates for the Community Children’s Services Fund
Trustees will vote whether to approve the Resolution to accept the 2021 Estimated Tax Rates for the Community Children’s Services Fund.
5. Nomination of Prospective Trustee
Trustees will vote to recommend Samantha March to the Mayor for appointment to a three-year term as a MHB Trustee, subject to approval by the St. Louis Board of Aldermen.
6. Resolution to Accept Federal Funding
Trustees will vote whether to accept additional Federal Funding on behalf of the St. Louis Area Violence Prevention Commission.
7. Resolution to Approve Revisions to MHB’s Accounting Policies and Procedures
Trustees will vote whether to approve the Resolution to revise MHB’s Accounting Policies and Procedures.
8. Resolution to Unanticipated Funding to Support Partnership
Trustees will vote whether to approve the Resolution to allocate unanticipated funding for Children’s Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis to support the Integrated Treatment Model providing adult behavioral health services for families with children served through the SOC federal project.
9. Preliminary Unaudited FY21 Year End Financials
Susan Kabat, CPA, and Controller with MHB will present the unaudited FY21 YE Financials.
10. Staff Report
A written update on major activities and accomplishments of the staff since the last meeting of the Trustees will be distributed.
11. Adjournment
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 at 5:45 PM.
