Description
The annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade has been held every year on the Saturday immediately preceding March 17th. This year's Parade is being held on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 with the parade scheduled to step off from the corner of 20th and Market at 12:00pm. The current plan is for the parade to travel east on Market Street to Broadway and then South on Broadway where it will disband at Walnut. This event is held regardless of weather conditions. The Downtown Saint Patrick's Day annual run is in its 44th year. The run is a 5 mile course throughout downtown and downtown west neighborhoods and begins at the intersection of 8th Street and Market. This annual event draws participants from around the metropolitan area as well as nationally and has previously seen crowds of over 10,000. In recent years the participation has been between the 6,000-8,000 range.More Information
