Description
The Black Girl Health Foundation is presenting Minds Matter St. Louis, a 1-day virtual LIVE event filled with interactive workshops that focus on mental health-related topics geared toward African-American women in the St. Louis area. Black Girl Health Foundation, Inc (BGHF) is a non-profit 501c3 that creates pathways to improve black women and girls' health through education, engagement, and empowerment. BGHF “Minds Matter” is an opportunity for women of color ages (18-49) to learn through workshops about the mental health issues unique to their demographic and discover coping mechanisms and medical research that can help them play an active role in their personal wellness — courtesy of National Library of Medicine resources such as MedlinePlus.
