Description
The Regional Business Council’s Young Professional Network invites the community to attend a free virtual panel discussion titled, “Building a Sustainable Legacy,” from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., on Wed., Feb. 23, to celebrate Black History Month. Panelists will include Jackie Joyner-Kersee, six- time Olympic medalist and founder of the Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation, Dr. Donald Suggs, publisher and president of The St. Louis American newspaper, and Dr. Vernon Mitchell, newly-appointed Chief Equity and Inclusion Officer at the City of St. Louis. The panel will be moderated by RBC member, three-time Emmy award winning broadcast journalist, and Founder/ Owner of Vector Communications, Laurna Godwin. The panel discussion will focus on the impact the panelists have had on both the local and international history and reflect on how to carry those legacies into St. Louis’ future.Contacts and Location
