Join CDA for a Virtual "Lunch and Learn" on CDBG-DR: Severe Storms & Flooding Recovery Planning Process 

Description: The City of St. Louis - Community Development Administration (CDA) invites you to a virtual "Lunch and Learn" session focused on the Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. After the unprecedented flash floods of 2022, this session will discuss the critical importance of community engagement in identifying unmet needs and shaping our city's future resilience.

What to Expect:

  • Flood Impacts and Unmet Needs Presentations: Staff from CDA and the City Emergency Management Agency (CEMA) will present on the impact of the 2022 severe flash flooding and the objectives of the CDBG-DR program. HUD has allocated $25,834,000 to the City of St. Louis to support long-term recovery in response to the flash flooding event. With feedback from impacted communities, the City will draft the Unmet Needs Assessment and the Action Plan.

  • Q&A Session: CDA and CEMA will be available for participants to ask questions and provide valuable public input.

  • Community Engagement Activities: Participate in engaging virtual activities designed to foster input on unmet needs and CDBG-DR community priorities.
