Emily Mae Nelson is a versatile and emotionally intuitive soprano whose artistry is rooted in authenticity, storytelling, and profound human connection. A longtime member of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, she brings both professionalism and heartfelt vulnerability to every performance, whether on the classical stage or in contemporary settings. Emily is known for her radiant musicality, instinctive phrasing, and an expressive sound shaped by years of disciplined training and lived experience. Her work spans opera, choral masterworks, jazz, and cross-genre collaborations, reflecting her belief that the voice is a bridge between worlds. A dedicated performer, teacher, and creative visionary, Emily has built her career through resilience, curiosity, and a deep commitment to artistic growth. Robert Valentine is excited to be back at the Blue Strawberry. An RN by day, Robert enjoys gigging around the St. Louis and metro areas as both a vocalist and pianist. He is an active member of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus and appeared as a supernumerary in the Muny’s production of Les Miserables (2024).More Information
