BOARD BILL NO. 200 INTRODUCED BY ALDERMAN GREGORY CARTER An ordinance authorizing and directing the Director of the Department of Human Services, on behalf of the City of St. Louis, to accept a Grant Award from the United Way Community Investment Committee in the amount of $50,000 and to expend those funds for the purpose of compensating an attorney or attorneys who will provide legal services and counsel to mentally ill individuals who may be eligible to seek diversion from jail into community based mental health and social services under the St. Louis Jail Diversion Project, Ordinance 67186; appropriating said funds and authorizing the Director of the Department of Human Services, upon approval of the Board of Estimate and Apportionment, to expend such funds as permitted by the Grant Award and containing an Emergency Clause.
