Resolution Number 95 In Session 2024-2025
Removal Of Archaic Anti-Abortion Laws And Our Right To Healthcare Access
Summary
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Aldermen of the City of St. Louis that we pause in our deliberations to declare the City of St. Louis free of unnecessary and oppressive abortion laws that put our citizen, healthcare providers and potentially our city as a governing body at risk for legal action and we furthermore stand ready to welcome abortion healthcare providers back to our city and state following the statewide vote to end the abortion ban, and naming these values as fundamental to the policies and practices of this body.
