  • Resident of the of St. Louis for one year
  • Twenty-One years of age
  • Duly licensed to practice as an attorney at law in Missouri

Filing Dates

Filing opens for party candidates as follows:

Filing dates for Circuit Attorney candidates
Filing Opens 8:00am The last Tuesday in February immediately preceding the primary election.
Filing Closes 5:00pm The last Tuesday in March immediately preceding the primary election.
Withdraw   The eleventh Tuesday prior.

Filing Fee

$50.00 filing fee paid to the Treasurer of the state or county committee of the political party upon whose ticket the candidate seeks nomination. Required summary be submitted by the candidate to the Board of Election Commissioners for the City of St. Louis.
