City of St. Louis - CDA Seeks Bids for Roof Repairs and Replacements at Three Recreation Centers

The City of St. Louis - Community Development Administration (CDA), in partnership with the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Forestry, is seeking qualified contractors for roof replacement and repair projects at three City recreation centers. These investments will help preserve and extend the life of key community facilities serving St. Louis residents year-round.
The work includes:
- Wohl Recreation Center (1515 Kingshighway Blvd.) – complete roof replacement of approximately 32,530 square feet, including fascia improvements.
- Buder Recreation Center (2900 Hickory Street) – replacement of traditional slate roofing with synthetic slate, replacement of EPDM membrane roofing, and an alternate for skylight replacement.
- 12th & Park Recreation Center (1410 S Tucker Blvd.) - replacement of existing membrane roof with mechanically fastened EPDM roofing system totaling approximately 29,128 square feet.
All three projects must be completed by September 1, 2026, per funding allocation requirements.

- Deadline for Questions: October 28, 2025, by 4:00 PM
- Proposal Due Date: November 13, 2025, by 2:00 PM
Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference:
A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visits will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Wohl Recreation Center (1515 Kingshighway Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63113).
Following the Wohl visit, attendees will proceed to 12th & Park Recreation Center (1420 S. Tucker Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63104), and then to Buder Recreation Center (2900 Hickory Street, St. Louis, MO 63104).
Attendance at all three locations is required for bid eligibility.

Bids must be submitted in accordance with the specifications and include all required forms and a 5% bid security. All contractors must comply with Missouri and City of St. Louis Prevailing Wage Laws, and projects are tax-exempt.
