Rachel Souvré

Community Development Specialist II

Rachel Souvré. Rachel is responsible for overseeing a dozen of non-profit and municipal agencies operating a variety of CDA funded activities and programs, including but not limited to childcare, housing services, food access, crime prevention, beautification, and vacancy management.

Rachel received a Bachelor in Social Sciences and Master’s degree in Urban Policy from Sciences Po Paris (France). Right after completing her degree, she moved to St. Louis to work in the community development sector and wrote her master thesis on community engagement in neighborhood planning. Rachel is a Community Arts Training (CAT) fellow with the Regional Arts Commission of St. Louis.

Rachel has worked for CDBG since January 2019. Prior to being a Community Development Specialist, she was a Program Assistant for CDA South Community Corporation and Project Coordinator for Webster University and the French Embassy.
