May 2015: Tammy Garrett is Employee of the Month

Another longtime City of St. Louis employee has been named as our May 2015 Employee of the Month. Tammy Garrett is an Executive Secretary I, and has been with the city for 37 years!  

Tammy started with the Comptroller's Office in 1984, after previously working at CDA. She currently works in the Financial Reporting and TIF Section in Room 311 (City Hall). Her responsibilities include: assisting with the Annual Report and other projects, she does the sales tax for the 150+ TIFS the city monitors, and she oversees ordering the office supplies for the department.  

Tammy says the best part of her job is "working with nice, caring people." When she's not hard at work, Tammy enjoys spending time with her grandson who's almost 3-years-old. One day she hopes to move to Utah, after her retirement.
