Comptroller's Office staff participates in volunteer day for tornado cleanup

Comptroller Donna M.C. Baringer declared Friday, May 23, 2025, as a Volunteer Day for staff to help with cleanup efforts following the tornado.

St. Louis City Comptroller Donna M.C. Baringer declared Friday, May 23, 2025, a Volunteer Day for staff to volunteer throughout the community and assist with cleanup efforts following the EF-3 tornado that ripped through the city. 

By volunteering with organizations of their choosing, staff members were assigned different tasks. 

From distributing household supplies, clothes, food, water, diapers and toiletries, to helping remove fallen limbs and debris from roadways and sidewalks, the community felt the impact.
