What to Expect
COVID Relief in Omnibus Bill, H.R. 133
- A second stimulus package was passed by Congress and signed into law on December 27, 2020. The City of St. Louis has received additional funding from the second stimulus package to be used for emergency rental assistance for City residents. The Department of Human Services, along with our partner agencies, is working to develop this program in accordance with guidance being provided from the Treasury Department. We will have more information on this program in the coming weeks and will share information on the City’s website and social media platforms. Please stayed tune for details.
- We ask for your patience as these next steps are solidified. Please refrain from calling DHS to ask for program updates. DHS cannot provide details related to the new Emergency Rental Assistance program and procedures, as the Treasury Dept. is still providing regulations and guidance. Additionally, DHS cannot provide any details about the status of an individual’s previously submitted application; these inquiries can be directed to 2-1-1.
