How to access your Web Based Employee E-mail account
An Employee e-mail account is available to all city employees. Your city email is formatted by having your lastname first, then followed by your first name initial only. As a example Jane Doe would have the email address doeJ@stlouis-mo.gov.
The Department of Personnel will issue you your city email at the time of employment training.
In order to access your e-mail remotely, you MUST:
- Have an active @stlouis-mo.gov e-mail account.
- Know your password for the e-mail account.
Employees can access webmail from any Internet connected computer inside and outside of the City network.
- Visit the url gmail.com
- Login using your city email and password.
- Start using your city email.
What to Expect
You are able to access and use your city email account from both inside and outside the city network.
What happens if I lose my city email password?
Contact the NSS Helpdesk and ask for a password to be reset.
How do i find a city employee who is not in my email contacts?
At the top right portion of the page your will see 9 small dots together, click that symbol and a drop down will appear. In the drop down find and click on the contacts button.
A the contacts page on the left hand menu select the link titled "Directory", this will bring up a search page for you to type in the name of the employee you are looking for.
* Not all employees or City Contacts are in the directory.
