Information for defendants with cases in Municipal Court about court dates during COVID-19 suspension of  face to face court sessions

All of City Court’s face-to-face court sessions are suspended until at least April 10, 2020. The suspension of face-to-face sessions may be extended beyond April 10, 2020, as public health circumstances may require.

Starting on Monday, March 16, 2020, and until further notice City Court has or will postpone all scheduled face-to-face court dates and will automatically continue those cases without issuance of a summons or a warrant. Cases on or after March 16, 2020 and up to at least April 10, 2020 will be rescheduled for new court dates.  Those new court dates will be in early June or after. You should call City Court at (314) 622-3231 to find out your new court date. You may also check your case and your next court date at: www.municourt.net. Notices will not be sent by mail.

If you have other issues or questions during this period of time, please call the Court at (314) 622-3231 before you come to City Court. We may be able to address your issue or question over the telephone.

You may continue to make on-line payments on your fines using PayIt at www.payitstlouis.com. The Court’s will also continue to take in person payments or partial payments at the Court, 1520 Market Street, St. Louis. MO 63103 (entry on the 16th Street side).

Please be aware that anyone with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or more, or who shows other indications of COVID-19 exposure, will be denied entry.
