Tree Inventory Information

Updates on city parks tree inventories and 2016 street tree inventories for wards.

The City of St. Louis Forestry Division understands the need to maintain an active database of trees that it manages.

GIS-based inventories exist for street trees and nearly all of the City's larger parks.

In 2016, the city updated the street tree information for an additional five wards.  Part of the updated information can be viewed at http://showmotrees.mytreekeeper.com/. Use the scroll function to scroll in to St. Louis and your street, or type in the exact address to locate information about your street tree. Selecting the insect button in the upper right of the screen provides an image of which trees are ash trees along city streets.

The updated inventory is supported by a grant from the Missouri Department of Conservation's Forestry Division through their T.R.I.M program.  http://mdc.mo.gov/property/community-grants-aid/tree-resource-improvement-and-maintenance-trim-grant
