Summer Camps

Playtime offers FREE summer camps for children ages 7-15 teaching a variety of recreational interests. Camp topics include art, basketball, cheerleading, cooking, dancing, deejaying, football, golf, journalism, poetry, robotics, soccer, swimming, tennis, theater and track.

Registration for Playtime Recreation Summer 2016 Theme Camps opens April 1, 2016.

*There will be no Playtime Rec camp the week of July 4 - 8, 2016

Day Camp 

Playtime Recreation will also host a day camp at the Cherokee Recreation Center located at 3200 S. Jefferson. 

Camp begins on June 6, 2016 and ends August 12, 2016.  

St. Louis Nites Adult Basketball League

St. Louis Nites Basketball is produced in cooperation with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department and the Gateway Classic Sports Foundation. Adult males 18 years of age and older play in a highly competitive league coached entirely by St. Louis City Police Officers. The public is welcome to come watch these young men compete at the Cherokee Recreation Center starting at 6:15 PM on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. The current session is scheduled runs January 25 - March 18, 2016
