Summary
The City of St. Louis (hereafter “City”) is requesting proposals for a provider(s) to provide voluntary benefits including, but not limited to cancer coverage, hospital intensive care coverage, accident indemnity coverage and should term disability coverage for employees of the City of St. Louis. The City currently offers two voluntary participation plans to approximately 4,100 City employees and one voluntary participation plan to Police Division Civilians hired prior to 9/1/13 and to all Commissioned Officers covering approximately 1,475 employees.  There are approximately 6,575 active City employees eligible for benefits. The City wishes to offer voluntary benefits plans applicable to all City employees including all Police Division employees.

Proposals will be accepted until 3:00 P.M. DST, ON Friday, April 13, 2018, at the address above.  Late proposals will not be accepted. All materials submitted in accordance with this RFP will become the property of the City and will not be returned.
