The Bee-Fit Wellness Program is a partnership between The City of St. Louis and BJC Healthcare and focuses on educating and motivating City of St. Louis employees to live a healthy lifestyle.Logo - Bee-Fit

Class Locations: Carnahan Courthouse, Rm. 921 & 1520 Market, 2nd floor, Bee Fit room

Class Descriptions

Basic Training: Cardio and strength exercises will be combined in this class that will focus on functional movements using different props like agility ladder, Bosu and more.

Body Toning: Sculpt, tone and strengthen the entire body in this class.

Body Toning Plus: Sculpt and tone the body with weights and cardio exercise. Some cardio exercise may involve the step.

Cardio Core: This class is a full body cardio workout that will keep your heart rate up to burn mega calories and will include exercises to strengthen and tone the core (abdominals).

Floor Toning: Most exercises will be performed with participants laying or sitting on the floor with no equipment needed. Tone and strengthen the entire body in this class.

Yoga: Each day is a little different using traditional yoga poses and moves. 

Monday-beginner yoga teaching basic yoga moves.

Tuesday-gentle yoga.

Wednesday-yoga sequences and progressions for individuals ready to take their basic yoga practice to the next level

Thursday-yoga with more intense moves.

Friday-combines cardio, strength and stretch in one class.

Yoga-Airport: Beginner and basic yoga moves that will increase to more challenging as class progresses.

Zumba:  Hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo and more is completed in this high energy dance and aerobics class.
