The Bee-Fit Wellness Program is a partnership between The City of St. Louis and BJC Healthcare and focuses on educating and motivating City of St. Louis employees to live a healthy lifestyle.Logo - Bee-Fit

Siteman Cancer Center Mammogram Van @ City Hall (8am-3pm): Women 40 and over do not require a physician referral to be screened, and the screening is FREE! Call 314-747-7222 or 800-600-3606 (option 2).

Bee-Fit Biometric Health Screening @ City Hall (10am-2pm): Active employees who are covered under the City of St. Louis Medical Plan are eligible to sign up for a voluntary FREE biometric health screening. Beginning March 6, call the BJC Health Line at 314-747-7234 to make an appointment. Those who make an appointment and complete screening will earn a $50 Schnucks gift card. If you do not make an appointment, you can still complete the screening and earn a $25 Schnucks gift card.

2019 Wellness Fair “Healthie Selfie” (March 18-April 5): Prevention is the key to wellness! What activities do you do to stay healthy? Share health prevention activities by submitting a “healthie selfie” photo for a chance to win a Wellness Fair door prize. Submit photos to Bee-Fit Wellness Coordinator Cathy Hargrove at hargrovec@stlouis-mo.gov. For more information, view the “Healthie Selfie” flier on your employee wellness program web page.

BODY TONING @ 1520 Market (11:45am-12:30pm): Sculpt, tone and strengthen the entire body in this class.

MAT PILATES @ 1520 Market (11:45am-12:30pm): A series of exercises performed without equipment. Class utilizes all major muscle groups with a strong focus on core muscles to improve flexibility, muscle tone, balance, spinal support, mind and body awareness and strength.

YOGA @ Carnahan (12-12:45pm): Class will incorporate traditional yoga poses and moves for a full body workout.

Tai Chi @ Airport (12-1pm): A gentle practice rooted in martial arts that can have a positive effect on muscle strength, flexibility and balance while improving circulation, alignment and energy.

BP Clinics (Blood Pressure Clinics): A BJC registered nurse visits worksites to confidentially track employee blood pressure measurements and provide on-site education for avoiding or managing at-risk blood pressure levels.
