Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for managing the operations of the Homeless Services Division of the Department of Human Services. Duties include supervising staff, coordinating the delivery of services with local, state and federal agencies, monitoring subcontractors for contract compliance and preparing the budget and grant proposals.

A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Sociology, social sciences, or a related field; plus four years of experience supervising or monitoring programs for the homeless. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess said license at the time of filing application and be able to present it at the Oral Interview. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application. Applicants who do not possess a Missouri driver's license must present a "Driving Record Check" from their State's Department of Motor Vehicles.
Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted with the Employment Application or at the time of the Oral Interview.
