Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for developing and coordinating all communications and public affairs efforts for a division of a large City department or agency.

A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field; plus two years of experience in public relations or journalism with strong communication and presentation skills. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted with the Employment Application or at the time of the Oral Interview.
