Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position assist with planning, coordinating and monitoring Department of Public Safety grant programs. Duties include: assisting with the grant/contract acquisition process; maintaining records and files for grant funded projects; serving as program monitor for grant/contract compliance; consulting with principals on contract/programmatic matters and documenting compliance or non-compliance; monitoring monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and assisting in the preparation of reports.

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field; OR an Associate's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, plus two years of administrative or advanced clerical experience working with grants and/or contracts. OR, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it at the Oral Interview. Please note type of license, number, class, and expiration date on the Employment Application. Applicants who do not have a Missouri driver's license must submit a "Driving Record Check" from their State's Department of Motor Vehicles.
Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted at the time of the Oral Interview.
