Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for conducting financial analyses of a wide variety of issues, agreements, policies or initiatives impacting municipal interests and formulating recommendations for use by municipal officials. Duties may include: assisting in the preparation of indirect cost studies; billing and collecting outside funds for indirect costs; ensuring indirect costs rates are submitted timely to State and Federal government; tracking investments and analyzing net return and investment fees; analyzing redevelopment projects to report if the estimated benefit of the project is meeting the actual return, analyzing cash flow of the general fund and assisting in the preparation of financial statements.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or Public Administration, Economics or a related field, plus three years of financial analysis experience. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
