Salary

HOURLY SALARY:  $15.00

Per performance positions are not covered by the Employees Benefits Program and do not require City residency.

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position provide information and assistance to seniors, caregivers, adults with disabilities, and professionals seeking services. Examples of work include: answering multiple telephone lines, entering information into information system databases, managing and maintaining confidential client information, preparing reports, referring clients to services/programs and other projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) certificate; plus previous clerical/administrative and customer service experience which includes working with Microsoft Office Word and Excel. 

OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:  Prior experience working with the Senior Community Service Employment Program.
