Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for performing on-site inspections of boilers, air conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation systems and other mechanical HVAC and refrigeration equipment to ensure the installation, repair and alterations comply with applicable codes.

An Associate's degree or completion of a two year training program in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heating Technology from a recognized trade school or junior college; plus three years of experience installing, repairing and maintaining high pressure boilers and/or refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application.

MEDICAL: Candidates will be required to pass an oral swab "Drug Screen" as part of the Medical examination.
