Salary

  • Minimum: $62,946.00
  • Maximum: $98,670.00

Nature of Work

Incumbent in this position reports to the Director of Public Safety and is responsible for the planning and overall coordination of emergency management activities for the St. Louis City Emergency Management Agency (CEMA). Duties include operating and maintaining the City’s Emergency Operations Center and its communications equipment, planning and developing response plans for emergencies/disasters, and conducting emergency preparedness training and public information activities.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management or a related field; plus four years of experience in emergency management. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted upon request.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:  At least one year of previous supervisory experience is preferred.
