  • Maximum: $65,234.00

Normal entry salary is $41,730.

This examination’s eligible list will also be used for filling per performance vacancies.  Per performance positions are paid $20.06 on an hourly basis, are not eligible for the Employees Benefits Program and do not require City residency.

Nature of Work

Incumbents in this position ensure contracts are properly executed and ensure contract compliance. Duties include conducting site visits, drafting requests for proposals, contracts and policies and providing technical assistance to sub-recipients to ensure compliance with policies, rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration or a related field; plus two years of experience working with grant/contract or purchasing/procurement administration and compliance. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver's license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application. 

Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted upon request.

Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for a community allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly.  A ten-year background investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations for positions at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
