Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating the accounting, finance, and audit functions at St. Louis Lambert International Airport. Duties include: coordinating annual audits and budget preparation, managing the general ledger and inventory control functions and supervising 30 employees assigned to the Airport’s Finance and Accounting unit.

A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field; plus five years of experience managing the accounting/fiscal operations of a major organization. Qualifying experience must include managing accounting, budgeting, auditing, and contract matters. At least three years of this experience must include supervising accounting/fiscal operations staff. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Employees assigned to St. Louis Lambert International Airport may be eligible for a commuting allowance of $141.00 bi-weekly. A ten year background investigation will be conducted in accordance with FAA regulations for positions at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
