Incumbents in this position are responsible for monitoring all aspects of contract compliance for the Department of Health (DOH) to ensure proper and legal execution of contracts. Duties include consulting with federal, state, and local agencies to research specific program requirements governing DOH grants/contracts; maintaining records/databases for documentation, analysis, and reporting purposes; setting up, preparing for and attending PSA meetings; assisting with developing grant proposals and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) for contractors to provide professional services; participating in site visits with vendors, subcontractor sites, or programs to ensure compliance; and serving as a resource/guide by advising internal and external partners with applying to City of St. Louis or DOH policies and procedures.

A Bachelor’s degree in Public or Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field; plus two years of experience working with grant/contract or purchasing/procurement administration and compliance. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. CITY RESIDENTS PREFERENCE POINTS: City residents who pass an examination for a position in the classified service and do not receive any other preference will receive a five (5) point preference on a scale of 100 points on the exam. An additional one (1) point shall be added to the passing score of City residents who receive any other preference on a scale of 100 points. City residents must have resided in the City for at least one (1) year at the time of filing their application to be eligible for the preference points.
