Bennice Jones-King

Neighborhood Improvement Specialist for North Riverfront, Riverview, and Baden.

Bennice Jones-King was raised to be a caretaker with morals and determination which have been the foundation that preceded that path of her life. While working in the Circuit Courts, she assisted in programs that improved the quality of life for families through the Caring and Sharing programs for poverty stricken families.

Moving into politics as an Alderwoman for the City of St. Louis, programs were implemented as initiatives to springboard economically and structural growth for the population that she represented in the 21st Ward.

Her objective was to create legislation that would improve the entire City of St. Louis and she aimed to improve and enrich many lives of that community. Championing projects and programs at the nationally recognized alternative school Innovative Concept Academy (ICA) @ Blewett with the uniquely disquised structured curriculum for an After School Program teaching Life Skills to the underprivileged population of the school and the community.

Now the adventure of this new path to help in the improvement of services and resources to the City of St. Louis residents will be a new and challenging task. She is determined, driven and committed to bring all her years of preparation and training to serve the people of St. Louis in bringing all the resources to the City of St. Louis residents fairly and equitably. The City is rich as the Fortune (her son) she possesses and fair as her Justice (her son).
