The City of St. Louis and numerous volunteers and corporate sponsors, including Switch, CBS Radio (KMOX, Fresh 102 and Y98), Fox 2, Hogan Trucking, the Veiled Prophet Community Service Foundation, and Loy Lange Box Company, have banded together to help the residents of the East Coast Hurricane Sandy disaster get back on their feet.
Ann Chance, Director of Special Events for the City, is helping coordinate efforts in the City and with the Veteran's Day Parade organizers so donations can be dropped off from 8 a.m. - Noon during the ceremonies and before the parade.
"I think the residents of the St. Louis metropolitan area understand that putting lives back together after Sandy's devastation is going to be an ongoing challenge," says Switch President John Nickel. "We remember how generous other parts of the country were in helping Missourians rebuild after the great flood of '93 and the Joplin tornado. This is our opportunity to repay and assist those in desperate need on the East Coast."
Rally behind the victims of Hurricane Sandy by delivering goods and essentials to those affected by this disaster.
