As required by law under the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, SLATE announces available bid opportunities, requests for proposals, modifications to local plans affecting the City of St. Louis, and other items of interest. On this page, we solicit public opinion and participation in workforce development activities; local plan modifications can be reviewed and/or petitioned for disapproval.
The City of St. Louis Workforce Investment Board and the City of St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) are seeking to become an eligible training provider for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification program. Due to high demand, students are finding it difficult to access CNA training providers in their local areas. If SLATE becomes an eligible training provider, it will allow for more individuals to receive training and obtain CNA certification at no cost to them. See the link to the Notice of Intent for details.
SLATE invites the public to review this Notice and provide feedback in the next 30 days, but no later than 5:00 p.m. (local time) on October 12, 2018. Comments may be submitted to SLATE’s office, 1520 Market Street, Room 3050, St. Louis, MO 63103, 314-589-8000, Attn: Melissa Jones. You may also submit comments to Melissa Jones at email@example.com.
