General Motors in Wentzville has asked St. Louis Training and Employment Agency (SLATE) to provide assistance in recruiting applicants to fill all open positions. There is no minimum education or experience required to be entered into the applicant pool. GM uses a random selection process in which it randomly selects referrals to offer the opportunity to begin the application process.

All individuals interested in being entered to the applicant pool must visit one of the SLATE Missouri Career Centers in person. Potential candidates will be required to register with SLATE, show proof of citizenship, take a brief assessment, and view an orientation video if they are not already members of the Career Center. The process generally takes between 30-45 minutes. SLATE Career Centers are located at 1520 Market (3rdfloor) or 4711 Delmar.

Recruiting starts Monday, August 20th, 2012, and ends on Friday, August 31, 2012. SLATE Career Centers are open from 8:00 to 5:00 Mondays through Fridays, with the exception of opening on Wednesdays at 9:00.
