Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) - Notice for 30 Day Public Comment Period

Summary
Today begins a 30-day public comment period for residents to weigh in on the region's Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS).

The five-year plan for the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County focuses on job creation and economic development. Following federal guidelines, the CEDS includes analysis of the regional economy, a strategic framework to focus the scope of the plan and measure progress, and an action plan with specific implementation steps. St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and St. Louis Development Corporation are interested in public comment regarding projects and recommended policies in the draft report.

The draft CEDS report will be available for public comment beginning Thursday, November 3, 2016, at 5:00 p.m.
