Leonard Johnson Selected Director of Neighborhood Business Development for SLDC

St. Louis, MO- Leonard Johnson has been selected for the position of Director of Neighborhood Business Development at St. Louis Development Corporation. Johnson joins SLDC after spending the last 5 years in the position of Deputy Chief of Staff and Parking Programs Coordinator for the Treasurer’s Office in the City of St. Louis.

In his previous position, Johnson oversaw the development and implementation of policy objectives and operation plans for the Treasurer’s Office. Prior to coming to the Treasurer’s Office, Johnson was the Policy Compliance Operations Manager for East St. Louis AmeriCorps where he managed a $2.5 million annual federal grant for the organization.

Johnson is a dedicated volunteer and is involved with a number of charitable organizations including the Urban League Young Professionals and Project: Youth Impact

Johnson stated, “I am looking forward to my new position with SLDC. This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a quality organization”
