ST. LOUIS – The City of St. Louis's Project Connect and Community Development Administration will host a Resource Fair on November 17, 2016, from 5:30 –7:30 p.m. at Vashon High School.

"A common theme our team has heard from residents in the neighborhood meetings Project Connect has held over the past several months is a desire to connect a variety of resources in on place," Mayor Francis Slay said.

"At the upcoming Resource Fair, we are bringing together various City services, resources and partner organizations in one location so that residents can have a one-stop shop for information on home repair, after-school activities, job opportunities, and transit to name a few," Isa Reeb, Project Connect liaison, said.

Project Connect, an Action Plan being developed by the City of St. Louis and its residents, is connecting current initiatives being proposed by both the public and private sector. The goal of the initiative is to work with citizens to determine how to best utilize opportunities and investments in the neighborhoods of St. Louis Place, Carr Square, Columbus Square, Old North St. Louis, JeffVanderLou, Downtown West, Hyde Park, and North Riverfront.
