Roll Cart Trash Collection Schedule Adjusted to Accommodate Christmas and New Year's Day Observances 2025
The schedule will be adjusted to accommodate Christmas Day observance on Thursday, Dec 25 and New Year’s Day observance on Thursday, Jan 1.
The City of St. Louis Refuse Division would like to remind residents with roll carts that the trash collection schedule will be adjusted to accommodate Christmas Day observance on Thursday, December 25, 2025 and New Year’s Day observance on Thursday, January 1, 2026.
Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Mondays and Thursdays will have their trash collected on Monday, December 22, 2025 and December 29, 2025 and recyclables collected on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 and December 31, 2025.
Residents who normally have their roll carts collected on Tuesdays and Fridays will receive trash collection on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 and December 30, 2025 and recyclables collected on Friday, December 26, 2025 and January 2, 2026.
The yard waste collection regularly scheduled for roll carts on Wednesday, December 25 and January 1 is canceled due to the holidays. Roll cart yard waste collection will resume on its regular schedule, Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
