- Maximum: $56,888.00
The eligible list for this position will be used to fill both permanent and per performance positions. Per performance positions do not require City residency and are not covered by the Employee Benefits Program. Per performance positions are paid on an hourly basis.
Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position perform contact tracing, investigative, educational, program coordination and patient intervention services for COVID-19 virus.

A Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Biological Sciences, Social Work, Sociology, Community Health Education, or Psychology; plus one year of health outreach experience in Communicable Disease. OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
License: Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis. Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of filing application and be able to present it upon request. Candidates must be willing to train and perform counseling and testing services which include venipucture, OraSure testing, OraQuick testing and other STD testing as assigned.
Documentation of academic credentials must be submitted upon request.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal communication skills; the ability to maintain sensitive confidential information; experience performing counseling and testing services which include venipucture, OraSure testing, OraQuick testing and other STD testing procedures.
