Nature of Work
Incumbents in this position are responsible for organizing and conducting a variety of sports activities, games and leagues at a City community center. Duties include planning, organizing, coaching and overseeing football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and cheerleading for Recreation Division youth athletic programs, setting up equipment and maintaining records.

Successful completion of thirty semester hours of college credit in Recreation, Physical Education, or a Social Science; plus one year of experience administering recreation programs. OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
