During a brief ceremony at City Hall last month, Mayor Lyda Krewson presented a 40-year service pin to David Mitchell, Water Treatment Plant Operator with the Water Division. On hand for the ceremony was Mitchell's wife, Debbie.

Mitchell has been with the Water Division the entire 40 years. He is directly responsible for monitoring the water quality of the plant and adding the chemicals required to ensure we have the best drinking water in the United States! His knowledge and experience is greatly appreciated and will be sorely missed one day when he retires.

Congratulations, David, for your 40 years of dedicated service!
