1. Exercise regularly. Good forms of exercise include weight lifting, brisk walking, running, biking, dancing, hiking, and swimming.

2. Control your carb intake. Carbs are broken down into glucose, which raises blood sugar levels. Reducing carbohydrate intake can help with blood sugar control.
